About me

I have been a volunteer at the Currahee Military Museum and with Camp Toccoa at Currahee Inc, for more than 10 years. I have also been an Airborne re-enactor for 6 years portraying the exact unit my Great Uncle was in when he trained at Camp Toccoa. My Grandmother spent over 30 years registering and logging all the home sites and grave sites around Currahee Mountain. I am also a social media content creator and in the process of writing my own book titled

"Faded Footprints-A family's legacy from Currahee to Normandy"

The Legacy of Currahee

Established in 1942, the 101st Airborne Division's Jump School at Currahee Mountain served as the crucible for Easy Company and the elite paratroopers who would define the course of history. Today, The Currahee History Channel stands as a dedicated guide, preserving the archival reverence of this training ground through historical tours and social media like YouTube and TikTok. We bridge the gap between the past and the present, ensuring that the courage and discipline of those who trained here are never forgotten.

The history doesn't end with the Airborne, Toccoa has many beautiful landmarks and parks for you to explore. Many of which were visited by the Toccoa Men while at Camp Toccoa at Currahee Inc, for training. The mountain itself preserves its own history dating back to the Native Americans, and early settlers.
